Created for full-frame L-mount mirrorless cameras, the SIGMA 14-24mm f/2.8 DG DN artistic lens offers a versatile range of wide-angle focal lengths with excellent image quality while optimizing size and weight.

A zoom of the Art series, this lens is also distinguished by its fast constant maximum aperture of f/2.8 to suit work in available lighting conditions. With a sophisticated optical design, a series of low dispersion and aspherical elements are used to minimize chromatic and spherical aberrations throughout the zoom range to achieve high sharpness, clarity and color accuracy. A super multi-layer coating combined with a nano porous coating also helps suppress lens glare and ghosting to a greater degree than conventional anti-reflective coatings. This helps produce images with greater color accuracy and rich in contrast in a variety of lighting conditions.

Although full-time manual focus is available, this lens is equipped with a stepper motor that allows for smooth, high-speed autofocus that is remarkably quiet, whether features like face/eye detection AF are used or during video shooting. A built-in Autofocus-Lock (AFL) button can be assigned for additional functions to expand the range of operations available on the lens, while inside, a rounded 11-blade diaphragm improves image quality by helping to create smooth bokeh. In addition, a built-in lens cover serves to protect the front element, as well as to prevent stray light from causing flashes.
