Covering a useful and familiar range with a svelte form factor, the M.Zuiko Digital ED 12-45mm f/4 PRO OLYMPUS is a 24-90mm equivalent zoom for Micro Four Thirds mirrorless cameras. Distinguished by its constant f/4 maximum aperture, this lens strikes a balance between a brilliant design and a highly compact design to suit use in everyday situations. Many specialized elements are incorporated into optical design, helping to suppress spherical aberrations, color fringes, and distortion to produce sharp, color-accurate images. Also featured is a ZERO coating, which controls flare and ghosting to improve contrast when working in bright, backlit conditions. Complementing the optics is an autofocus system compatible with movies and stills, which achieves fast, smooth and quiet focusing performance, and a maximum magnification of 1:2 throughout the zoom range to suit working with close-up subjects. In addition, the lens is weather-sealed to allow it to be used in harsh weather conditions.
