With a boundless design approach, SIGMA 105mm f1.4 Second Hand is distinguished by its brilliant maximum aperture and advanced optical design. The fast f/1.4 design greatly benefits working in low-light conditions and also allows extensive control of depth of field to isolate subjects and work with selective focus. As part of the Art lens line, this lens is also designed for high-resolution rendering, and uses FLD and SLD glass to control chromatic aberrations and color stripes for remarkable clarity. A Super Multi-Layer also improves image quality by suppressing lens flare and ghosting to improve contrast and color fidelity in bright light conditions. In addition, a rounded nine-blade diaphragm contributes to a pleasant bokeh quality.
Complementing the imaging capabilities, the lens has a Hyper Sonic Motor to produce a full-time manual-focus, fast, smooth and quiet autofocus. The physical design uses thermally stable composite material for durability in a wide range of environments, and a brass bayonet mount also offers rigidity and mounting precision. For working on top of a tripod, a removable tripod collar is also included and features an Arca-compatible foot for wide mounting compatibility.

• Short telephoto priority, this 105mm f/1.4 lens is designed for FX-format DSLR NIKON F, however it can also be used with DX models where it will provide an equivalent focal length of 157.5mm.

• The impressively bright maximum aperture of f/1.4 is suitable for working in low-light conditions and also provides greater control over focusing position when using shallow depth of field techniques.

• The optical design includes three Low Dispersion (FLD) elements and two Special Low Dispersion (SLD) elements, and helps reduce color stripes and chromatic aberrations for greater clarity and color accuracy.

• An aspherical element is used to help limit distortion and spherical aberrations and also contributes to greater overall sharpness and more accurate rendering.

• The large 105 mm diameter front contributes to better peripheral lighting to reduce vignetting.
