The 15x56 Geovid HD-R Binocular laser rangefinder from LEICA combines a precision optical instrument with a laser rangefinder to create a versatile tool that is useful if you are nature watching or hunting. The lens's large lenses give this higher binocular performance in low-light conditions, such as sunrise and sunset, versus smaller lenses. Optically, binoculars use fluorinated glass and HDC multicoatings owned by LEICA that produce clear, bright images with high contrast and true color fidelity. The housing is filled with nitrogen and the O-ring sealed by water and fog-resistant performance. From two interlocking positions, eye coverings even allow you to customize eye relief with or without glasses.

The built-in rangefinder uses a class 1 eye-safe IR laser to measure distances from 10 to 1,400 yards. You can vary from a stationary target in single-distance mode, or use scan mode to track moving objects or to quickly measure various topics. The rangefinder has a built-in inclinometer that measures the angle of view up or down, and calculates and displays an adjusted horizontal distance that can help you in ballistic compensation calculations. This model shows the ranges in yards only, and cannot be changed.
