AW RP150GJ PANASONIC Camera Controller

PANASONIC's touchscreen remote camera controller allows you to control up to 200 compatible PTZ PANASONIC cameras via IP via a switching hub. Or you can control five cameras using a direct RS-422 connection. See the list of supported cameras in the Features section below. The controller features a zoom/focus tilt control on the joystick for pan and tilt operations, many built-in buttons, and additional controls within the 7" LCD touchscreen. It also has an SD card slot, which allows you to save scene files, system configuration files, and other camera settings, as well as copy settings to other cameras. The controller can be powered via Power-over-Ethernet or a 4-pin 12V XLR power supply, sold separately.

• Single-operator camera control

A joystick-mounted zoom/focus rocker manages pan and tilt operations for zoom and focus control and intuitive one-handed operation. The built-in 7" touchscreen allows for quick and easy operation of all essential camera functions.

• Connecting Multiple Cameras

The IP connection via a switching hub can be used to control up to 200 remote cameras. Up to 5 remote cameras can be controlled in a serial connection.

• Touchpad GUI

The touchpad GUI monitor supports the display of the camera image during shooting, as well as a variety of operations. The panel is equipped only with frequently used buttons, with menu and camera switching operations, gauges, and other functions consolidated in the touchpad GUI.

• Touch Focus

The focus quickly aligns with the area touched when you touch the screen. In addition, the "Red Focus" screen helps align the focus by framing the part focused in red.

• Settings copied across multiple cameras

Scene files, system configuration files, and other camera settings can be saved to an SD card. These settings can then be copied to multiple cameras via the SD card. This greatly reduces outdoor setup time when recording events with a large number of cameras.

• Smooth Cropped Images

When the controller is used with the AW-UE150W/K camera, the camera's cropping function can be controlled remotely. Images sent from the camera to the monitor can be cropped in three different locations, displayed with colored frames (yellow/green/magenta) and tuned with the joystick as you watch. The required images can be cropped accurately and easily.

• Preset memory for easy camera control

Recording the camera angle and other remote camera settings allows you to easily retrieve settings from the touchpad GUI monitor. Supported presets include pan and tilt position, focus position, white balance settings, crop position coordinates, zoom position, lens aperture (manual iris only), and gain.

• Trace Memory

The tracking memory function records a series of operations performed for the remote camera. Up to 5 minutes can be memorized for 10 operations for a single camera and then that trajectory can be replayed. Supported presets include pan and tilt position, focus position, white balance settings, zoom position, lens aperture (manual iris only), and gain.
