Lens SONY 55-210mm f4.5-6.3
The Lens SONY 55-210mm f4.5 -5.6,features very low glass dispersion, a wide range of zoom and aluminum alloy construction. On an APS-C format camera, this zoom lens has a focal length range of 82.5-315mm, suitable for event and portrait photography alike. Internal focus and AF assist system with linear motor create sensitive focus and calm while minimizing mechanical noise. In addition, a separate manual focus ring capable of direct manual focus allows for seamless AF transitions for manual focus.
Two extra-low scattering elements, combined with SONY's optical SteadyShot (OSS), improve the overall quality of images captured on the telephoto end of the zoom, especially while shooting in low-light conditions. OSS is able to reduce the appearance of camera movement by a maximum of four stops. An aspherical focus lens located in the center of the optical path helps reduce aberrations throughout the zoom range as well as improve the af response time of the lens.
- Optical SteadyShot image stabilization is capable of compensating camera movement up to four diaphragm stops, useful for hand-taken images in low-light conditions at the super telephoto end of the focal range.
- Two extra-low scatter glass elements and an aspherical focus lens aid to reduce chromatic aberrations and distortion throughout the zoom range while maintaining image sharpness and clarity.
- Zoom lens provides an equivalent focal length range in 35mm of 82.5-315mm, providing a wide range of telephoto perspectives.
- Internal zoom and focus design helps maintain a constant lens length with a non-rotating front element to support the efficient use of polarization filters.
- Zoom lever allows greater control over the zoom speed through any of the variable or fixed speed settings.
- Internal AF unit that uses a linear motor and aspherical lens focus to achieve smooth focusing and minimize mechanical noise.
- Direct manual focus allows autofocus override without the need to change the camera's focus mode.
