Inspired by the legendary PEN-F camera that was launched in 1963, the E-P5 features the same distinguished retro design on its side superior and for example, the front of the silver version of the E-P5 also includes the unmistakable inscription "OLYMPUS - PEN". And that's not all; the E-P5 features a stylish PEN design perfectly adapted to the 21st century.

The E-P5 offers the same image quality as the powerful OLYMPUS OM-D, reaching SLR camera quality standards. It also features a shutter speed of up to 1/8000 sec, which is perfect for out-of-focus background effects in bright conditions or for freezing all kinds of moving subjects.

Thanks to its built-in WiFi capabilities, the E-P5 offers a host of advanced functions via the connection between your camera and your smartphone. You'll be able to view the camera's live view via your phone's touchscreen and even shoot remotely from your phone. You can even use the countdown with this feature to be able to go out in the photos. It allows you to assign GPS information to photos and send them to a smartphone to share with your friends. Everything is faster and easier with built-in WiFi.

In addition to offering extremely fast autofocus, the E-P5's FAST AF also incorporates other very interesting functions. Partial AF allows you to view an even more specific part of the image in detail than is possible with SLR cameras, and to do so directly with the tip of your finger. Meanwhile, its high-speed mode allows the time interval between shutter release and exposure to be reduced to a minimum to best capture moving subjects
