Thanks to the first full-frame backlit CMOS image sensor with 35 mm and 42.4 megapixels, the α7R II SONY takes image resolution, sensitivity (up to ISO 102400 and response speed to another level. The fast hybrid autofocus system features extensive phase-detection AF coverage in a wide area plane that keeps the subject in precise focus over the entire image area, while its 5-axis image stabilization reduces the blur that often appears when not using a tripod. The high resolution is further increased with the recording of 4K videos with full pixel reading without grouping. Everything that hides this compact format only confirms that, sometimes, appearances are deceiving.

The shogun 4K HDMI/12G-SDI Atomos 7" recorder and monitor combines a screen resolution of 1920 calibrated colors x 1200 with 4K video recording and editing codecs lists. The Shogun uses 4K HDMI and 12G-SDI inputs to record clean output signals in resolutions up to 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) at 23.98, 24, 25, 29.97, and 30p, as well as Full HD (1920 x 1080) video up to 120 fps when used with capable cameras. The Shogun registers 10 bits, 4:2:.. 2 X 4K UHD formats and HD video for ProRes HQ Apple, 422, or LT You can also record high definition video using Avid's DNxHD format, and UHD 4K raw video using Cinema DNG RAW format without video compression is recorded in a single or smoothed 2.5" HDD and SDDs for fast and reliable write speeds. As a monitor, the Shogun features a 7" IPS capacitive touch screen with 1920 x 1200 resolution, it is calibrated Rec. 709 color and allows operation of multiple frequencies (48/50/60 Hz) for tracking and playback of a variety of input frame rates. An SDI loop output is available to pass the signal to an additional monitor. The Shogun adds several new features over previous models Atomos, including custom 3D LUT support, En Genlock for multi-camera synchronization, and enhanced audio manipulation with a LEMO breakout cable included for XLR audio. There are also a variety of on-screen tools to help you set up your shots, including a full waveform monitor, RGB parade screen, vectorscope, focus on peak hours, and other framing, focusing and exposure tools assist. The Shogun comes bundled with a battery, battery charger, RAID adapter, two drive caddies, and XLR audio LEMO breakout cable.
